Cannot query users by their username (warren.twitchell)",

Post by blaine69 » Tue Jun 16, 2015 7:54 pm

Hello JROX Community,

I discovered something strange and annoying today!

All of my JAM users' "Facebook" Photos (except 2) are no longer appearing in the JAM ADMIN area nor on their "replicated" webpage. ( <img src="<?=$replication_image?> )

When I open the missing image in a new window this is the URL:

http://graph.facebook.com/warren.twitch ... type=large

.... and this is the error message that appears.
===============

{
"error": {
"message": "(#803) Cannot query users by their username (warren.twitchell)",
"type": "OAuthException",
"code": 803
}
}

===============

HOWEVER.... there are Two (2) users whose photos DO APPEAR and when I open their images in a new window, the image appears and this is the URL.

https://fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.net/hp ... 0bf91efdd9

I looked at their "Facebook ID" and they entered a Facebook Number IE: 1161652684 instead of their username IE: warren.twitchell

So, is the Almighty Facebook crew messing with us? Can we no longer rely on capturing our user's Facebook Image from Facebook

OR

... is this something my coder accidentally caused while building my new Registration Form (combining 3 Programs, JAM, X-cart & OSSN into one registration form?

Looking forward to your reply,

Facebook has changed their API, so it's likely that the code for the Facebook Open Graph has changed as well.

Does JROX plan on fixing this problem?
